Alicia Keys has plans to take on more than radio next year. The Grammy Award winner is also poised to venture into theater and television. “I’m loving the diversity of the angles,” Keys tells Uptown Magazine. “I’m also working on a theatre piece. I want to create not only the music, but the stories.” After venturing successfully into film with “Smokin’ Aces” and “The Secret Life of Bees” Keys has also decided to work with NBC. While details surrounding the deal have not been revealed, sources say a TV series is in the works. At this point however, Keys is intent on spreading hope and love via her latest album “The Element of Freedom” which arrives in stores December 15.
