Christina Aguilera’s forthcoming album “Light & Darkness” is complete, according to hit making producer Christopher ‘Tricky’ Stewart. According to Stewart, Aguilera is putting finishing touches on the effort, which is due for release in 2010. “The album is finished. She’s mixing. She hasn’t made a final decision about what the first single is, but I know everyone feels good about their options,” he tells Rap-Up. While the album is finished, it may be some time before fans hear it. Aguilera is busy at work on her big screen debut in ‘Burlesque’ and looks forward to promoting that particular project first. In ‘Burlesque’ Aguilera plays an ambitious small town Iowa girl with a big voice who finds love, family and success in a Los Angeles burlesque club. Once ‘Burlesque’ wraps up however, Aguilera’s music will hit the radio. Teaming with both Santogold and Flo Rida, Aguilera’s “Light & Darkness” will be a “big record”,” according to Stewart. “Light & Darkness” follows Aguilera’s 2006 effort “Back To Basics”.
