Beyonce and Jessica Simpson will never forget their recent business-related trips to Japan over the weekend. Both Beyonce and Jessica Simpson, in additon to Solange Knowles, were in Japan when a staggering 6.6 on the Richter scale earthquake struck Japan early Tuesday morning. Surprisingly sleeping through the earthquake Beyonce’s sister and fellow recording star Solange says Beyonce was “scared out of her mind”. “How did I sleep through a serious earthquake. Again. Japan. wtf (what the f**k)? “Wtf! wtf! wtf! My sister said she was scared out of her mind and calling my mom and I was snoring. 6.6? omg (oh my god)! omg! omg! tsunami watch???,” Solange wrote on Twitter. “Praying for everyone affected by this,” Solange wrote. Both Beyonce and Solange were in Japan to promote Japanese clothing brand Samantha Thavasa (see photos here) and also performed at Japan’s Summer Sonic Music Festival over the weekend. In related news, Jessica Simpson was shaken up after the earthquake. Using Twitter like Solange, Simpson told fans “thought I was hallucinating. I have never felt anything like this in my life. Laying in bed watching CNN.” Simpson was in Tokyo, shooting footage for her new reality show ‘The Price of Beauty’. The earthquake struck southwest of Tokyo.
