A representative for Rihanna says an alleged reunion with Chris Brown at New York’s Trump International Hotel & Tower is nothing more than a “coincidence”. “This was a coincidence… she’s stayed there before as have thousands of other people,” rep Amanda Silverman told MSNBC Monday. Rumors that Rihanna and Chris Brown had met or at minimum crossed paths at the hotel between Friday and Sunday hit the net late Sunday night, prompting speculation that they had gotten back together despite a court order. That order, which was enacted when Brown plead guilty to assault charges in June, says the once happy couple must stay at least 50 yards away from each other and 10 yards away at industry events. Silverman did not confirm whether or not Rihanna crossed paths with the “Kiss Kiss” singer or if she was aware that he was in the same hotel. Chris Brown is due to be sentenced August 5.
