Mariah Carey is inching for the premiere of the Bret Ratner directed video “Obsessed,” due to premiere next week. Set to premiere on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” Wednesday, Carey tweeted (Twitter) about the video’s premiere late Friday: “Just wanna let you know that the world premiere of the “Obsessed” video is on America’s Got Talent(hosted by NCx0x) Wed.night..July 15th,” said Carey. Long thought to be a diss track directed at Eminem, “Obsessed” features Carey dressed like a man, goatee and all, that slightly resembles the “Slim Shady” rapper. Carey has yet to confirm that the single is based on Eminem however, she did admit that the song was not the original lead single from “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel”. “We were gonna go with the ballad 1st but donât worry, itâs coming. I tried to make something for all who love Butterfly, and even older albums but âObsessedâ has to come out 1st… asap!!,” said Carey. “Obsessed” premieres on ‘America’s Got Talent (NBC),’ Wednesday July 15 at 9pm ET. “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” is due in stores August 25.
