Brandy may have had some trouble with the release of “Human” last year but, according to the “Long Distance” singer rumors that she has been dropped are “false”. “Don’t believe everything you read or see,” Brandy wrote on Twitter Thursday afternoon. As previously reported on Singersroom, Brandy was said to have been dropped by EPIC recently, with sources telling BV Buzz that the drop was due to poor sales of “Human”. Beyond the label however, BV Buzz also confirmed that Brandy has split with management at Roc Nation. Nonetheless, Brandy says it is “not a good look when so called journalist spread false rumors without the facts:)”. Released in November, Brandy’s “Human” was the first album to be released under Epic after spending much of her career at Atlantic Records. Beyond music Brandy has appeared at the box office and on television with the most recognizable role being Moesha, a late 90s UPN sitcom that also starred her brother Ray J and actress Sheryl Lee Ralph. Brandy burst onto the scene in 1994 with the hit singles “Baby” and “Best Friend”.
