Tameka Foster-Raymond, Usher’s soon to be ex wife says they were intimate just days prior to divorce papers being filed ! Foster Raymond, filing documents in Fulton County Monday, disputes Usher’s paperwork that says the marriage was “irretrievably broken”. In fact, the mother of the Grammy winner’s two boys, says the notation that they have been separated since July of 2008 is incorrect. She had “every reason to believe her marriage was intact,” Foster-Raymond’s attorney wrote in official documents filed Monday. This after, she confirmed that they had been “intimately together” on June 6 (six days before the divorce filing). Usher filed for divorce Friday, June 12, sparking a series of interviews, including a recent Essence hosted chat with Foster-Raymond’s friend Nyeisha Dewitt. In that interview, Dewitt claims her good friend knew they were having problems: “She didnât know that he was going to file. Of course, she knew that there were challenges in their relationship and had been some discord since March and was aware there were some things that needed to be worked through. But did she know that divorce was imminent? No. It was a total surprise,” Dewitt told Essence. Nonetheless, Tameka Foster Raymond is focused on maintaining her family life and asked the judge (in the Monday filing) to ensure that Usher pays for family expenses and court costs related to their ongoing divorce.
