Former Danity Kane star Aubrey O’Day is taking her Broadway learned skills to Las Vegas for a soon-to-be announced musical. O’Day, currently filming a reality show slated to air later this year, confirmed the forthcoming Vegas show Wednesday. “I’m about to take a huge star’s position in a Vegas show that just opened,” says O’Day. According to MTV News, the former “Damaged” singer will reunite with Broadway choreographer Jerry Mitchell, who worked on ‘Hairspray’ and is behind this project. While O’Day is excited about the news, she does admit that it will be a challenge and something fresh to add to her resume. “I have big shoes to fill. There’s been an amazing cast so far and the show’s beautiful and I’m really excited. It’s something new that I haven’t done before.” In related news, O’Day is said to be busy at work on her solo debut as well. At this time there is no word on when a single will be released from that project. Aubrey O’Day split with Danity Kane in 2008.
