In addition to Keri Hilson celebrating the success of her second no.1 single “Knock You Down,” congratulations are in order for producing and songwriting team Danja and Kevin Cossom. The duo, both scoring yet another no.1 hit (sans Danja’s work with Britney Spears among others), say “Knock You Down” is just a taste of what’s to come from their recipe book. “When Danja and I met, we vibed instantly, and “Knock You Down” is a great example of what we want to continue to deliver,” says Cossom. As previously reported on Singersroom, Cossom signed a deal with Danja’s N.A.R.S. Records imprint earlier this year and has since been fast at work on a debut album. Cossom’s work with both Rick Ross and Fabolous, in the form of the singles “Usual Suspects,” “Laid Back” and “My Time,” is currently in rotation. Keri Hilson’s “Knock You Down” retains the no.1 spot on Billboard’s R&B Hip Hop Singles chart this week.
