You watched, voted and sang along… Sunday, BET crowned Washington, DC resident Y’Anna Crawley its ‘Sunday Best’ ! Crawley, after battling it out with fellow inspirational singer Jessica Reedy, won a larger share of the over one million votes cast after the duos ten week stint on ‘Sunday Best’. Along with the title of ‘Sunday Best’, which she’ll now share with season one winner Crystal Aikin, Crawley won a national recording contract and a 2009 Lincoln MKS. “I feel like I have been preparing for this moment my entire life,” says Crawley. “Through the ups and downs and highs and lows, God has truly been faithful and I owe it all to Him.” This season of Sunday Best was hosted by Kirk Franklin and featured BeBe Winans and Mary Mary sisters Tina and Erica Campbell as judges.
