The special performance of “Blame It” on American Idol might have helped actor/singer Jamie Foxx with his latest chart feat — becoming this week’s greatest digital gainer. According to Nielsen Soundscan, Foxx’s already 8+ consecutive week holding no.1 R&B/Hip Hop song “Blame It” shot up to no.2 on the Hot 100 Thursday. The song, Foxx’s third single from the December 2008 released “Intuition” album, displaced Kid Cudi’s hit “Day N’ Nite” (No. 4) and long time Top 5 holding entertainer Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” (no.3) . In related news, the former “DJ Play A Love Song” singer has released the next single from “Intuition” titled “I Don’t Need It,” listen to the cut right here on Singersroom.
