After battling it out for the final two spots on BET’s hit gospel reality singing competition ‘Sunday Best,’ show finalists Y’anna Crawley and Jessica Reedy are set for a Mother’s Day showdown. Set for Sunday, May 10, Crawley and Reedy will sing one last time in hopes of winning a national recording contract, a 2009 Lincoln MKS and the title of Sunday Best. Crawley, a 32 year old single mother from the Washington, DC area and Reedy, a 20 year old single mom from Saginaw, Michigan made it to the finals with the approval of multi-Grammy Award winning host Kirk Franklin and Gospel greats Mary Mary and BeBe Winans. Sunday Best, airing Sunday, May 10 at 9pm, will also feature a special performance from reunited brother and sister gospel duo BeBe and CeCe Winans. The winner of this season of Sunday Best will join inaugural Sunday Best winner Crystal Aikin from Tacoma, Washington. Aikin’s debut album is in stores now.
