Hollywood Records’ Grammy-nominated trio the Jonas Brothers say they’re just like you when it comes to relationships and anything personal: “Trying times can be relationships or anything personal to you. No one is alone in that (and) we all go through it,” says Kevin Jonas. Jonas and his brothers Joe and Nick are gearing up for a busy summer that includes the release of the highly anticipated album “Lines, Vines and Trying Times”. Led by the single “Paranoid,” due at radio May 8, “Lines, Vines and Trying Times” is said to showcase what the Jonas Brothers call “incredible growth” as songwriters and musicians and incorporation of horns, harmonicas and peddle steel guitars on several songs including “World War III”. A funky metaphor for a confrontational relationship, Nick Jonas says “World War III” comes from “personal experience”. In fact, Nick (who also wrote the cut) says this song is for and about the ladies : “This is a personal experience for me. ‘World War III’ deals with the challenge of a girl who keeps attacking you, provoking you, trying to fight you, but all the while she’s the only one fighting.” As previously reported on Singersroom, the Jonas Brothers will embark on a summer tour June 20 that will not only run through early fall but, will also feature American Idol winner and fellow Grammy nominee Jordin Sparks. The Jonas Brothers’ “Lines, Vines and Trying Times” is slated for release via Hollywood Records June 15. “Paranoid” debuts at radio May 8.
