Smokey Robinson To Recieve Berklee Honorary Degree

R&B legend Smokey Robinson will soon have an honorary degree from the famous Berklee College of Music ! According to Berklee, Robinson and vocalist Linda Ronstadt will be awarded degrees at the school’s commencement ceremonies May 9. Robinson will also give a special commencement address to an expected 850 Berklee graduates. The iconic singer is well known for both recordings and songwriting including the 1979 and 1981 hits “Cruisin'” and “Being with You”. Robinson and the Miracles were also honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in March of 2008.
