Grammy and Academy Award-winning superstar Jennifer Hudson is shedding memories of the city that brought pain and strife in late 2008 when her mother, brother and nephew were murdered. Today, the “If This Isn’t Love” singer has decided that it is better to move forward without the painful memories and the costly condo purchased on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile ! The condo, purchased after the box office busting film adaptation of “Dreamgirls,” has reportedly gone on the market with Hudson telling reporters “I don’t live in Chicago anymore”. News of Hudson’s exit from the “windy city” is not foreign to friends and her long time assistant Walter Williams who says “She’s okay as long as people don’t bring it up”. “She’s trying to put all of that behind her,” Williams went on to say after sharing the fact that Hudson does not discuss the murders with her closest friends and confidants. In related news, Jennifer Hudson appears in this month’s issue of Entertainment Weekly discussing not only her musical tastes but goal of taking on Broadway in a four to five years. Hudson is currently on her first major tour with “Something Else” singer Robin Thicke. SRC: EW
