Actor and R&B recording artist Jamie Foxx barely avoided being attacked by a stalker who tried to barge into his hotel penthouse in Philadelphia during filming of “Law Abiding Citizen” ! According to investigators, the perpetrator, 49 year old William Brown, first knocked on the “Blame It…” singer’s door on March 20 claiming to be Beyonce’s music producer. Police say the man then tried to shove his way in but Foxx, telling police he was “gripped by fear,” pushed him out and called security. Investigators also say the man returned to the hotel and was booted by security. He then returned again, fled after security approached and was finally arrested Tuesday. Police say Brown is being held on $250,000 bail on stalking, false impersonating, harassment, criminal trespass, burglary, and other related charges, pending a hearing April 7. Jamie Foxx was in Philadephia filming the movie “Law Abiding Citizen” for several months but has since returned to Los Angeles.
