Brown, briefly arraigned and given a continuance until April 6., Thursday, was mostly silent in court except for a few “yes” and “yes, Ma’am” responses however, relatives say he deserves whatever happens next. “He should be in jail,” an unnamed relative told PEOPLE Thursday. “He deserves whatever he gets”. Rihanna was not present at Brown’s arraignment yesterday, however, officials say the “We Ride” singer did not request a “no contact order”. Chris Brown is due back in court April 6.
