Are Rihanna’s $11,000 blood stained Gucci dress and alleged blood stains in the rented Lamborghini enough for investigators and the District Attorney’s office ? Sources say they may not be enough, but, a statement Rihanna gave to police the night of the altercation with fellow award-winning recording artist Chris Brown may be enough to charge the “Forever” singer with more than issuing ‘criminal threats’. With the investigation placed in the hands of the District Attorney Wednesday night, according to TMZ, the Chrianna case is likely to heat up with or without Rihanna’s testimony. In an E! story released Wednesday night, Rihanna’s dress, an $11k gown Gucci given to the singer to wear at Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy bash, has been entered into evidence. The gown, reportedly bloodstained, joins several photos, including an alleged set of photographs the day after the altercation. “The police took Rihanna’s dress into evidence because it had bloodstains on it,” a source told the entertainment source. While the bloodstained dress is troubling, the statement Rihanna reportedly gave to LAPD officials the night after the attack is damaging to Chris Brown’s case. Telling police Brown had attacked her before, Rihanna reportedly said the attacks became “more violent” as their relationship continued. Chris Brown is rumored to be appearing at a Los Angeles area courtroom today.
