In speaking out on Chris Brown and Rihanna this week, R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo admits that he too, has experienced a similar situation growing up. “I come from a household where stuff like that went on between my mother and my father,” Ne-Yo told MTV News. “Abuse of any form… be it physical, be it verbal, whatever the case may be — has been going on and is going on right now. It’s been a problem. It just sucks that it has to happen to people who are in the spotlight for people to actually start talking about it.” According to Ne-Yo, Rihanna was “fine” when he spoke with her but it is the fact that this “thing” is getting so much attention because of who they are that is bothering him now. “..what about the millions and millions of women that have been battered and are being battered all over the world right now? What about them?” In related news, Ne-Yo has said he’d like to sit down with Chris Brown to about what happened the night of Feb. 8. Click Here to see what he’d like to say to the “Forever” singer.
