R&B/soul singer Chrisette Michele says recording a Gospel effort is on her list of things she hopes to tackle in the future. Talking about the future album just after Sunday’s Grammys, Michele says “I definitely have to do a gospel album someday.” Michele, who will release an anticipated sophomore album in March, thanked God for her first Grammy win at Sunday’s awards. “You are the source of my strength and I lift my hands in praise to you,” Michele said when she learned of her win for Best Urban/Alternative performance, for “Be OK” featuring will.i.am. While the singer says Gospel is on her mind, the anticipated sophomore effort “Epiphany” featuring a collaboration with R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo is the first priority. Michele released the first single, accurately titled “Epiphany” recently. Click Here to listen to the former “If I Had My Way” singer’s new single. Chrisette Michele’s “Epiphany” is slated to hit stores and digital retailers March 31st.
