Iconic singer Janet Jackson remains label-less according to Live Nation. The massive touring company, which has deals with Madonna and Jay-Z, says it has not signed the singer contrary to widespread speculation earlier this week. “We have not signed a deal with Janet, nor are we currently in discussions with the artist, says John Vlautin of Live Nation. Jackson, who hit a few road bumps, including a troublesome tour, with her last project “Discipline” cut ties with Def Jam just months after the release of the album’s hit single “Feedback”. In related news, Janet Jackson is rumored to be reuniting with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Jam and Lewis, industry icons, worked with Jackson on several efforts including the hit 1997 album “The Velvet Rope”.
