LA prosecutors say charges against R&B singer Chris Brown are unlikely to be filed this week. In release Thursday, spokeswoman Jane Robison says detectives are not expected to return to present their findings after days of looking into Sunday’s alleged altercation and rumored injuries. Brown, as previously reported, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of making criminal threats and has been free since late Sunday on $50k bail. With a March 5th court date, sources say investigators have several weeks to build their case if necessary. In related news, Chris Brown is the subject of a planned protest tomorrow on Long Island. Protesters, in connection with WBLI (radio), are expected to shred Chris Brown cd’s and poster’s including the singer’s now multi-Platinum release “Exclusive”.
