Usher’s wife and mother of his two sons, Tameka Foster, has been told to stay away from the singer because his record label is afraid of having another “Here I Stand” ! Rumored to be upset because she is stuck in Atlanta with their two children, Foster-Raymond is being forced to accept the fact that her Grammy-winning husband can’t focus while she’s in his face. A source close to Usher, who is currently recording in Las Vegas, told Page Six: “She tried to have so much influence over his last project that this time, the people involved with the record said she had to stay away.” As reported in 2008, Usher’s fifth album titled “Here I Stand” failed to match the success of his 2001 and 2004 albums “8701” and “Confessions”. Usher’s “Here I Stand” received just one Grammy nomination this year, in comparison to the singer’s previous albums which have fetched several nominations. An industry insider went on to say “Tameka’s keeping her distance seems to be helping Usher”. Usher’s forthcoming album, set for release later this year, has been linked to Pharrell, Ne-Yo and Jermaine Dupri.
