Beyonce and Kanye West have managed to remain in the top 5 on Billboard’s 200 album chart nearly three months after the release of their albums “I Am… Sasha Fierce” and “808s & Heartbreak”. According to Billboard, Beyonce’s “I Am… Sasha Fierce,” featuring the singles “Diva” and “Halo,” lands at no.3 on the Billboard 200 thanks to sales of 52,000 copies. “I Am… Sasha Fierce,” released November 12, has also been certified 2X Platinum by the RIAA for sales in excess of 2 million copies in the United States alone. Sharing the coveted Platinum mark, Kanye West’s “808s & Heartbreak” was certified RIAA Platinum on the strength of 33,000 copies moved this week. Featuring the hit single “Heartless,” Kanye’s latest effort follows the multi-platinum 2007 album “Graduation”. In related chart news, Bruce Springsteen’s “Working On A Dream” debuted atop the Billboard 200 Wednesday. Selling 224,000 copies, “Working On A Dream” becomes the “Boss'” ninth No.1 album on the chart. Springsteen also dethroned Taylor Swift’s eight week run atop the Billboard 200 with “Fearless”.
