Keri Hilson Talks Sex & Music Industry: ‘I Can’t Stand That’

Just like her forthcoming album “In A Perfect World” reads, Keri Hilson believes that the stereotype of women sleeping their way to the top would not exist (In A Perfect World), in fact she can’t stand that stereotype. “I can’t stand that,” Hilson told Nylonmag recently. Slamming the stereotype that led to the now commonplace pop culture statement “who’d she or he sleep with to get that job….,” Keri Hilson says “I love dispelling that for myself because I demand respect.” Hilson, whose debut album is now due for release March 24th after several push-backs, admits however, that the industry is all about the fittest: “I’m learning everyday that its about survival of the fittest.” Keri Hilson’s “In A Perfect World” features the single “Turnin’ Me On”
