Amy Winehouse is getting checked by her record label according to published reports. In a report issued by London’s PTI, Winehouse is said to be in trouble with executives who have been patiently waiting for the singer’s much-anticipated follow up to “Back To Black”. Winehouse is so much in trouble that Universal Records’ commercial director Brian Rose has been sent to Saint Lucia, where the troubled singer has been seen partying and paying for hotel guest tabs, to talk sense into the singer. A label source told the Sun, “Brian has been told to drive some common sense into Amy and find out what the hell is going on. There don’t seem to be any solid plans for new music. But Universal is a business and it needs to know what is happening to one of its biggest talents.” Winehouse was previously rumored to be releasing the follow up to “Back To Black” this Spring.
