Grammy Award-winning star and former Sounds of Blackness singer Ann Nesby is preparing to release her third inspirational gospel CD this year. According to the Gospelrama, Nesby will make several appearances to promote the album, titled “The Lula Lee Project,” including a stop by Bobby Jones Gospel (BET) this Sunday, Jan. 11. “The Lula Lee Project,” features Tonex, Herb Middleton (Faith Evans), J. Isaac, and Debra Killings (TLC). “The Lula Lee Project” is slated for release in March. The 2009 Stellar Awards Have Grown: According to Stellar Award organizers, the January 17th event has added a number of names to its list of co-hosts and presenters including Dorinda Clark Cole. Cole will co-host the show with Donnie McClurkin and Sinbad. In addition to Clark Cole, Actress/activist Sheryl Lee Ralph has been added to the roster as a presenter while organizers have also revealed a special tribute to Rev. Timothy Wright who was critically injured in a car accident last year. The 26th Annual Stellar Awards will feature performances from Mary Mary, Heather Headley, Tye Tribbett, Deitrick Haddon, Kirk Franklin, Jai Reed, Donnie McClurkin, Jessica Greene, Terrell Hunt, Lee Williams and the Spritual QCs, The Murrills, Melody and more.
