Attacked for her performance of âKeeps Gettinâ Betterâat the MTV Video Music Awards in September, where she bared striking similarity to Lady Gagaâs signature look, Aguilera claimed she was completely unaware of this person, man or woman that is… âThis person was just brought to my attention not too long ago. Iâm not quite sure who this person is, to be honest. I donât know if it is a man or a woman. I just wasnât sureâ Wow Christina, âI donât know if it is a man or a woman !â At the end of the day, Christina may be innocent in a way because she doesnât use the internet that much (at the time Lady GaGa was fairly new, donât fret if you donât know who that is): âI really donât spend any time on the internet, so I guess I live a little under a rock in that respect,â Aguilera told the LA Times. On the other hand, this statement would be more interesting had she said she knew who Lady GaGa was just like we knew Aretha was throwing all types of heat Beyonceâs way when she said âBeyonce who ?, I donât know who that isâ.
