Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Seal is slated to return to music this fall, this time out he’s channeled soul greats like Sam Cooke and Curtis Mayfield. “Someone once said … the album will sound like the time you had making it. Never before has it been as true as in the process of recording this record” say Seal, who looks forward to releasing his sixth studio album in November. Titled “Soul,” the album features eleven classic soul songs that each evoke their own drama, emotion and romance. Led by the single “A Change Is Gonna Come,” a cover of the Sam Cooke classic Seal ads his unique, signature style to an album produced with David Foster. “Iâve made a lot of records in my time, but Iâve never enjoyed the recording experience more than I have with Seal. I think heâs the only singer on the planet that could do this album, bringing something new and fresh to these classics, paying tremendous respect to their heritage, but, at the same time, owning them and making them uniquely âSeal.â” says Foster. Seal’s new album “Soul” is slated for release November 11 via Warner Bros.
