Update: Trey Songz Kicks Off Songz For Peace, ‘Missin You’ Video Debuts

Trey Songz is slated to celebrate the highly anticipated ‘Songz For Peace’ initiative this week with a series of events including a free concert and panel discussion. As reported on Singersroom, Songz’ initiative “Songz for Peace: An Attempt To Save Our Youth One City at a Time,” was created to educate and empower urban youth on the importance of choices. Teaming up with entrepreneur/philanthropist Noonie G. Ward, Songz will present a free concert to be held August 5th at Chicago’s Lindblom High School featuring performances by Adero Neely, Ben 1, Phoenix Phenom, Tha Pope, Vi and of course, Songz himself. Quentin Richardson, Eddie Curry, Jackie Long and Maestro Harrell are set to appear at “Songz For Peace” which will also include a panel discussion. In related news, Songz’ video for his latest single “Missin You” was premiered recently. Directed by Zipper On Butta-Fly Leather, the video follows three hit singles from “Trey Day,” including “Wonderwoman,” “Last Time,” and “Can’t Help But Wait.”
