Bobby Brown Says He and Whitney Are Cordial, Looks Forward To Book and Album

After the much talked about divorce Bobby Brown says he and Whitney Houston are on civil terms now, calling the singer his “friend.” The R&B singer is also looking forward to the release of his next album and tell-all book. PEOPLE Magazine caught up with Brown at the CMT session for television critics where he was promoting his new reality series “Outsider’s Inn” recently. According to the magazine Brown said “We’re friends, We’re Cordial ” when asked about his ex-wife. Houston and Brown’s divorce was officially finalized last year with Houston retaining custody of their daughter Bobbi Kristina. “She’s doing really well and growing up really good,” Brown says of his daughter. In addition to his upcoming stint on CMT’s “Outsider’s Inn,” Brown is looking forward to the release of his tell all book and according to PEOPLE an album due in August. Although no release date has been set for Brown’s tell all, he was quoted just a few months ago stating “I was married to a woman everybody knows for 14 years and we had a great marriage. Suddenly it abruptly ended and I don’t know why, but it did. My story needs to be told.”
