Stepping out on his own, R&B singer Marvin Scandrick III, known as Slim of the hit making R&B quartet 112 is set to make his solo debut soon, led by the new single âSo Fly.â He may be known to you as the lead singer of the group that dominated the R&B charts with hits like âPeaches & Cream,â âAnywhere,â âOnly Youâ and âCupidâ but Slim has been busy for much of the last year putting finishing touches on his solo debut due this year. Led by the single âSo Flyâ featuring Young Joc, Slim says âa new fresh sound with a lot of swagger is what Iâm onâ when asked about his upcoming album âLoves Crazy.â In addition to collaborating with Young Joc the singer who says âIâve always been a gentleman of R&B, a classy type guy whose all about making the fans happy,â has pulled in a list of Hip Hop heavies including UGK, 8Ball & MJG, and Slim Thug for the project. Although a release date has not been set at this time, the singer shot the video for âSo Flyâ recently featuring Young Joc and Shawty Lo. Slimâs debut âLoves Crazyâ will be issued via the singerâs label M3 Productions in cooperation with Atlantic and Asylum Records. âSo Flyâ is available now via iTunes and other online music retailers.
