Faceoff Update: Omarion Addresses Rumors, Bow Wow Plots Summer Tour

“Faceoff” duo Bow Wow and Omarion are busy making plans for the summer – apart. The R&B singer and Hip Hop artist will embark on new projects including a summer tour and new album. Omarion, whose last album “21″ was released in 2006 recently addressed internet rumors that he had been dropped by his label via SayNow stating that he “got a release, which is totally different.” “They are not shutting me out, I got too much to do.” Rumors of Omarion’s release from Columbia Records surfaced late last month, since then the star has been “quiet” about the issue. Some reports are speculating that a sigining with Capitol Records home to J. Holiday and Cherish may be on the way. The “Entourage” singer plans to make a more detailed announcement about his career soon but in the meantime revealed plans to hit the studio with Timbaland who produced the hit single “Icebox” to work on his next album. As for the other half of the duo, Bow Wow has laid out plans for a summer tour according to LiveDaily. The hip hop star/actor will launch the as-yet-untitled tour July 14th at New York’s Nokia Theater wrapping up August 17th in West Hollywood, CA. Bow Wow will tour in support of his recent releases: 2006’s “Price of Fame” and 2007’s “Face Off.” Although no supporting acts have been announced, the “Let Me Love You” rapper’s LBW crew will more than likely join the star.
