Tyrese Talks A-Team, Transformers, and Fast and Furious 4

R&B singer Tyrese has a busy year ahead. According to a recent interview with the actor, ‘Transformers 2′ and ‘The Fast and Furious 4′ are among some of the projects that will keep him busy for much of 2008-2009. Stepping further into his film career, Tyrese has recently set his sights on “The A-Team,” a feature film update of the popular television series featuring Mr. T. Although details have not been finalized the star is in talks with John Singleton who worked with the model-turned-singer in Baby Boy (2001) and Four Brothers (2005). “I’ve been practicing my double dutch,” Gibson joked from the set of “Legion,” later adding that he would be willing to grow a Mohawk for the part but would dispense with the character’s neck jewelry to bring the character into the 21st Century. For fans of last summer’s blockbuster film “Transformers” the star has confirmed that he will indeed appear in the sequel as well as the next “Fast and Furious” project titled “The Fast and Furious 4″ starring Vin Diesel and Laz Alonso. As for Transformers 2, the actor told Comingsoon.net – “I’m excited. Michael Bay is really going to try and up the ante on round two and take it to a whole other level. I can’t go into any detail, but it’s going to be some real one-of-a-kind things going on in this movie that no one has ever visually seen in their life.” Tyrese will appear next in the action-thriller “Death Race,” a feature film based on the popular arcade game “Death Race 2000″ due in theaters August 22nd.
