Bits & Pieces: Tamia Gives Birth, Another Spice Girl Baby, Jay-Z Sues, 50 Cent Goes Mad

R&B singer Tamia and her basketball star husband Grant Hill are celebrating after becoming parents for a second time. Lael Rose Hill was born in Orlando, Florida earlier this week. The couple already has a five-year-old daughter, Myla Grace. The 31-year-old Spice Girls singer Emma Bunton gave birth to a son, Beau, at London’s Portland Hospital on Friday (Aug. 10), a spokesman said. He is the first child for Bunton and boyfriend Jade Jones. Bunton, joins bandmate Melanie Brown, who had a baby girl in April. Hip-hop mogul Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter is counter-suing two former employees of his 40/40 nightclub, claiming one woman cost the venue $20,000 in damages. Carter and his sports bar, the 40/40 Club, filed their counter lawsuit in Manhattan federal court on Tuesday in response to a lost wages claim brought forward by former assistants Kishma Pickering and Sheron Branch. According to MissInfo.TV, 50 Cent caused quite a stir at his G-Unit offices when he found out his song and video for “Follow My Lead” featuring R&B crooner Robin Thicke was leaked to the public. 50 reportedly erupted, ripping out a plasma TV, throwing his cell phone through a glass window and saying that he was going on vacation. No complaint has been filed.
