Janet Jackson removes song after fan attack

Janet Jackson has removed a song from her website after disappointed fans, who had been told to “expect something special”, expressed their dissatisfaction. Immediately after Weekend, a remake of a song from the 1980s, was posted on Monday, fans began leaving disgruntled notes on the site’s message board. The track was taken down on Tuesday and replaced by a personal message from the star. Jackson says: “Hey you guys, I’m writing to let you know that Weekend is not my first single, nor is it on my album? it was my gift to you. “I can’t wait for you to hear my new single, Call On Me, which goes to radio May 19! Get ready for my new album 20 Years Old and tour!”
