With all this, former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland shows no sign of a career slow downâ¦even if itâs not music. The R&B singer, who was tapped to host the new Bravo series “The Fashion Show,” which is set to premiere May 7th, couldnât be happier. Joining her will be acclaimed designer Issac Mizrahi, who Rowland jokingly tells myFOXla, she âwouldnât even careâ if he was to grab her in a place not so appropriate. Senior Vice-President of IMG Fashion Fern Mallis, will also judge the designs of the fifteen professional designers who will compete to have their clothes sold in the retail market and win a $125,000 prize. So was Rowland the best fit for the show? She confidently believes so! “I buy clothes, Iâm a consumer, I love fashion, I know what looks good on,â says Rowland. âI have a pretty good eyeâ¦I can understand them wanting to put me in this show.â As far as her career Kelly says settling is not an option. âNoâ¦I donât think that you shouldâ¦we are all in a position where we basically get our pick,â says the R&B star. Not only is she opening doors for her own career, she is very supportive of her former Destinyâs Child sisters. As far as Beyonceâs new movie âObsessedââ¦Kelly said she new âit would be number 1 period.â âI remember thinkingâ¦what the hec is she doing fighting.â She went on to say she is proud of Beyonce and Michelle; they are doing very well. Whatâs next for Kelly? She wants to eventually get be married and have children, but for now she would like play a âsuper-hero in a movie.â
