Toronto native GNA returns with yet another hot cover. This time the 90’s influenced songstress puts a sultry spin on the Missy Elliott hit single, “Sock It To Me.”
The “Sock It To Me” cover follows GNA’s most popular cover of Brandy’s “I Wanna Be Down” and her original singles “Love Me” and “No Hook.” GNA teamed up with favorite producer and collaborator T Nyce again to assist with the cover’s execution.
Accompanying the remix with an animated and colorful Boulevard P directed visual, GNA rocks 90’s down to the socks. When asked what inspired her to cover this Missy banger, GNA disclosed the following: “Other than the fact that Missy is one of my favorite artists on this planet,” she said. “I’ve always admired her innovation and the fact that she’s unapologetically fly! This is just a way of me paying homage to her greatness.”
