The heat around R&B artist R. Kelly and his alleged sex “cult” just got a little hotter.
Back in August (2017), Jerhonda Pace accused the Pied Piper of R&B of mental and physical abuse, claiming she met him in 2008 when she was 15-years-old while attending his child pornography trial.
Today, Pace received a national stage to tell her story. She appeared on the season four launch of ‘The Real’ and shared details about going from a superfan to developing a personal relationship with Kelly. During the emotional conversation with Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley, Pace opens up regarding allegations she was trained to please R. Kelly, the physical abuse she experienced and details how she finally escaped the singer’s mansion.

Asked how she finally escaped the alleged cult, Pace said she had a small window of opportunity when she lied to Kelly about a family member living close by.
“Well, he was preparing for a party at the time, and I told him that – my uncle lived a few doors down – and I wanted to go to my uncle’s house to grab some shoes,” she said. “And he’s like, “Ok, well, you get there, you get the shoes and you come right back.” And that moment, when I knew I got out of the house, I’m like, “I’m not going back. I refuse.” I wasn’t going back.”
Pace said she left everything behind except her cellphone, which may have damaging evidence against Kelly.
She added: “I left everything behind. Only thing I had in my hand was a cellphone. That’s because of course, you need to communicate with him to get back in.”
Pretty crazy!
