Last we heard from Toronto artist 11:11 was just a month ago when he dropped his chill offering “Wild Ting” (not to mention his dope self-titled EP), but now he’s got some more heat on deck, this project called 11/11.
On the project, the singer-songwriter offers four slow jams; produced by Raider On The Beat, “Lock Down” is a sensual ode that captures the moment when one realizes he has a good one on his hands and he needs to put the clank-clank down.
“The name of the song ‘Lock Down’ says it all,” 11:11 wrote in an email to The FADER. “Don’t wait too long to lock that special someone down with your love, before someone with the right intentions comes along and does it before you do.”
The rest of the EP follows suit, as 11:11 enlists oozy sensual production as the backdrop to his love songs. “Proposal (Let’s Get Married)” features contemporary melodies and for an epic sound as if Jodeci had a baby with 2016.
