It looks like 32 was a very emotional birthday for R&B veteran Omarion. While celebrating his birthday on Saturday (Nov. 12), the former B2K member and solo star took to Instagram to share his overwhelming gratitude for his fans, thanking them for consistently supporting his career.
“As we close out the year I wanted to take some time to thank every fan that’s ever supported me, & followed my journey since day one,” he writes. “You all are the reason for everything! & without your support we’re nothing.”
O then went on to highlight some of the reasons why he’s grateful before announcing his next studio album, Reasons, due in early 2017.
“I’m excited to announce that I’ll be dropping a new project early next year titled ‘Reasons’ & I am confident that it will be well received like all my previous work,” O added. “I’ve grown in so many ways & this is reflected in my music. I can’t wait to share it with you all.”
It didn’t stop there. Along with the post, O also shared a new song with fans called, “It’s Whatever.” On the biographical gem, produced by G. Ry, O touches on his break-up from his baby momma, Apryl Jones.
“Torn apart, catch me I’m on the run / Told my BM she can have that / Put that on my daughter and my son / Every night I’m having flashbacks,” he songs.
‘Reasons’ will be Omarion’s fifth album and will follow 2014’s Sex Playlist.
Happy birthday, O!
