There are only a few male/female R&B collaborators out there that are magical together! Eric Benét and Tamia are surely in that conversation.
The longtime collaborators recently teamed up again for the remix to “Sunshine,” a single from Benét’s forthcoming self-titled eighth studio album. On the smooth ballad, both Benét and Tamia shine with pristine vocals as they sing effortlessly about finding their way back to love.
Benét and Tamia first took the world by storm with their 1999 duet, “Spend My Life With You,” which spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. They joined forces again in 2006 for “Have To Go Through It,” a record from Tami’s fourth album, Between Friends.
Benét’s upcoming LP will arrive on Oct. 7. He is currently touring the country with Anthony Hamilton and Lalah Hathaway.
