With the third and final installment of her album trilogy RED*emp*tion on the way, D∆WN is doing big things!
She’s signed on with Youtube to bring the world its first demonstration of 360-degree video live-streaming musical performance. On Wednesday, April 20th at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, tune in to the epic showcase on The Verge’s YouTube channel via YouTube’s iOS and Android apps on any smartphone or tablet, as well as Google’s Cardboard headset and the web.
Only the first 100 fans in the L.A. area will be admitted, and can attend the event for free at YouTube Space LA.
If you recall, it’s kind of like the video for the remix of The Weeknd’s 2015 hit “The Hills” ft. Eminem. Last month in March, The Verge shot an interview by First Lady Michelle Obama in 360 degrees.
