Anthony Hamilton is surely ready to unleash that “down-home” sound he’s known for on his fifth studio album What I’m Feelin.’ Following the first single “Amen,” he’s released the title track featuring his beloved background singers The HamilTones, and it’s full of the soulful sangin’ they’re famous for.
On the song, Hamilton and his ‘Tones sing a classic song of soulful love, complete with harmonies, spoken breakdowns, and a twangy guitar solo. Feel free to sway and snap, or bring your s/o closer for an impromptu slow dance.
In a recent interview with Singersroom’s Dominique Carson, Anthony told us about the new album. “The creative process for this album took place in Nashville, Tennessee where I felt like it was great for me and Mark and Bruce (my engineer) to create this music and stay focused and cohesive. We pulled in a few people like Al Stevens, who is a great guitarist, Vince Gill, Gary Clark Jr, and brought in the Hamiltones too. It was a creative time, a really beautiful time,” he said.
What I’m Feelin will arrive on March 25th. Pre-order HERE.
