Detroit singer-songwriter/producer D Slate steps from behind the boards producing for the likes of Big Sean, Mike Posner, and Malaya Watson (American Idol) to release his first single “Heartbreak.”
The self-produced/ self-written song starts off simple then grows into an irresistible, lush groove. It’s a heartfelt ode to his former lover; he reminisces on the times they spent together while coming to the harsh reality that the love he once had for her is just a memory.
Heartbreaking, especially with V-Day on its way.
