Elle Varner taps G-Unit boss 5-Cent for her latest single, "Birthday," a kinky record about sexually rewarding your lover. On the cut, Fiddy brings the street hustle mentality to the bedroom while Varner deliver raunchy and smooth lyrics about giving her man his "birthday cake."
"Imagine if your lover treated you like everyday was your birthday! We captured that fun and sexy vibe on this record," Elle told Billboard. "You can certainly add this one to your go-to collection of ‘Birthday’ classics."
The two performed the cut earlier this week at a Starz premiere event for the second season of the network's hit series, Power.
"Birthday" will appear on Elle's upcoming sophomore album, 4 Letter Word, arriving soon.
She previously told Singersroom: "I'm taking my time, I feel like greatness can't be rushed, and I wanna put out a quality album and I wanna be here for a long time and put something timeless into the equation … when it comes, it comes."
