We haven’t heard from L.A. songwriter/Virgin Records artist Mike Jay since late 2014 with his single “#1 Fan” (and his Mike Jay EP from last year, too) but he’s resurfaced after half a year with new tune called “No 1 To Love,” a sad ballad about the pain of being dumped.
Over expressive piano accompaniment, it’s clear the young artist knows about heartbreak, and can’t seem to get over the passion: “It’s funny how you used me up, fed me that drug called fake a** love / I was in too deep, couldn’t keep up / I thought we was making love, you f*cked up my life, but the sex was right,” he sings.
Feel Mike's pain.
