Soul songstress Chrisette Michele and her counterpart Raheem DeVaughn will be hitting the road for their “Art of Love” tour beginning May 22. Billboard reports that hair care brand Mizani will sponsor Michele during her performances in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Atlanta and Miami, where the songstress will aid the company’s fundraising efforts with Hairdressers Unlocking Hope, an initiative dedicated to building homes with Habitat for Humanity. In June, Michele will also join Mizani for their New Orleans building project and dedicate a new home to a family that was displaced during Hurricane Katrina. Michele’s 2007 “I Am” has moved 365,000 units to-date, while DeVaughn’s 2008 “Love Behind the Melody” has sold 247,000.
