“I was in the process of getting rid of a really detrimental & dramatic habit… a “bad habit” of falling for “mr. wrong” and at the time of recording for the 2nd single, I wanted that record to say exactly where I was in my life,” Kiyana says about the tune. “As a virgo entertainer, we always feel like our art has to exhibit our life, tell our real stories, & give a part of us that people normally don’t see or hear, because we are really private people.”
