R&B singer Mya has recently recorded a new song called âMy Braâ for Lifetimeâs 13th annual âStop Breast Cancer for Lifeâ campaign. The singer reportedly became involved with the Breast Cancer Awareness community after her mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 1998. The inspirational song âMy Braâ will be featured in the new Lifetime movie, âMatters of Life and Datingâ, starring Ricki Lake. Other celebrities involved in the campaign include, Whoopi Goldberg, Reba McEntire, Fran Drescher and Daisy Fuentes. Lifetime’s multitiered promotion kicks off Monday (Oct. 15) when iTunes begins offering downloads of “My Bra” for 99 cents along with a free sneak peek of “Matters of Life & Dating.” Mya will perform “My Bra” Oct. 16 when Lifetime hosts its annual Heroes reception in Los Angeles. Sponsored by Lean Cuisine, the event honors breast cancer survivors, advocates and community leaders. In other news, Mya reportedly got into a small âfender benderâ over the weekend. According to Trans World News, the singer reportedly ran her Cadillac Escalade into a parked Ford Explorer in Georgetown. Witnessâs state that Mya patiently waited for the police to arrive, and exchanged numbers with the Explorer owner and quietly departed.
